Who this covers

This policy explains how Omar Sheikh, a salesperson registered with HomeLife/Miracle Realty Ltd., Brokerage, handles personal information collected through this website. It follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Your dealings with the brokerage itself — for example once you sign a representation agreement — are also governed by the brokerage’s own privacy practices. The listing information shown on this site originates with the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board and is governed by its privacy policy.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number and a message. We also record which page you submitted from and, where you enquired about a specific property, which listing it was — so that the reply makes sense.

We record that you ticked the consent box, because we must be able to demonstrate that you agreed to be contacted.

We do not use cookies or advertising pixels. This site stores nothing on your device, has no accounts or logins, and does not build a profile of you. You can browse every listing without giving us any personal information at all.

We do measure aggregate traffic — how many people viewed a page — using Vercel Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, does not follow you between websites, and does not identify you. We use it because we cannot see which listings are useful without some measurement, and this is the least intrusive way to do it.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority.

Why we collect it, and your consent

To answer your enquiry and provide the real estate services you asked about. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

You give consent by ticking the box on the form. You may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, subject to any record-keeping we are legally required to maintain — see “How long we keep it” below.

Who we share it with

We share an enquiry only where doing so is necessary to act on it:

• The brokerage. HomeLife/Miracle Realty Ltd., Brokerage is the registrant of record for any transaction, and enquiries are handled under its supervision.
• The listing brokerage. If you enquire about a property listed by another brokerage, we may need to contact that brokerage on your behalf.
• Our hosting provider. Enquiries are stored in a database operated by Supabase, which processes the data solely to host the service.

We share your information with no one else, and we never sell it.

Where your information is stored

Enquiries are stored on servers located in the United States. Your information is therefore subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to United States authorities under lawful process. If you would rather your information were not stored outside Canada, please telephone +1-647-584-7546 instead of using the form.

Other services this site uses

Listing photographs are delivered through this website rather than fetched directly by your browser, so the photograph providers do not receive your IP address. Typefaces are served from this site, not from a third party.

The one exception is the map shown on individual listing pages, which is embedded from OpenStreetMap. When a map loads, OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and the location being shown. Pages without a map make no third-party request. © OpenStreetMap contributors.

How long we keep it

To be confirmed Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and to satisfy record-keeping obligations under Ontario real estate legislation, and are then deleted. The specific retention period must be confirmed with the brokerage before launch.

Keeping it secure

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries are written to a database that is not publicly readable — access is restricted to Omar Sheikh and the brokerage. No safeguard is perfect, but we also do not retain information we do not need, which is the simplest protection of all.

Seeing or correcting your information

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the contact below and we will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires. We may need to verify your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example if this site ever adds analytics — we will update this page and change the date shown at the top.
